What a pleasant little cafe! The Havana cappuccino has condensed milk in it. The sweetness of the different milks work very well with the bitter espresso. The espresso wasn't burned or too dark. It was an excellent fall beverage, especially with a flaky, warm, nutty, maple croissant. Smoothie flavors can be combined to make new creations. The strawberry banana smoothie is creamy, not watery, and very smooth. The person at the counter today was very informative, attentive, and polite. Inside, the cafe had a modern atmosphere with plenty of bar seating at the window - sadly not much of a view - and bench seating against the wall. The pastry variety was excellent. It was hard to choose! Cafe Bru is worth another trip. Update, 5/21/25: This is my go-to cafe of choice between EHT, Linwood, Northfield, Somers Point, and Mays Landing. The staff is always great. The food and drinks are consistent every time. On special days, my partner and I head to Cafe Bru for a warmed guava cheese braid, strawberry-banana smoothie, and Havana cappuccino, and we know when our day starts like that, it's going to be a good one.
This is THE cutest place. The staff is so friendly and they make it a personable visit. I enjoy stopping here before work. I get a caramel macchiato with whole milk and so far I have had the cheese cake (a lot) and today I tried tomato and olive croissant! I plan on trying everything
My husband and I stopped in to grab some coffee since we’ve never visited this coffee shop before. What an amazing cafe! The coffee, breakfast sandwich, and pastry were delicious! But what we loved even more so was the staff! We dealt with 3 employees and each were so kind! This spot is such a delight, I encourage everyone to give them a try!
Terry is hands down the best! Greeted with smiles and prompt service every time. All of the staff are amazingly sweet and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is always bubbling with love. I suggest the Havana cappuccino and for a sweet treat the blueberry stick. It's a must stop and see for yourself!!!
I love Cafe Bru! It has been my go-to spot for an afternoon pick me up. The iced matchas are my favorite and so delicious! The staff is always so friendly and sweet. Definitely recommend giving them a try!

I was just here and loved how welcoming the place is. The girls are so sweet. I got pistacio havana coffee and it tastes sooo good. Picked up some pastries to try later. Amazing experience. Will come back when in the aread. I loooove their Havana Latte
I popped into Cafe Bru for breakfast before work. It’s my first time here. I had the bacon egg and cheese on a croissant and a decaf mocha latte. The sandwich was super tasty. They make the croissants in house. My coffee was also quite good. Service was great. I will be back!
